For this card I used My Mind's Eye All Is Bright Paper and Bazzill Cardstock.  I used the Cheery Lynn Die for the doily and Spellbinder dies for the circles.  I also used a Fiskars punch for the butterfly and Sizzix dies for the flowers and a Hero Arts Stamp for the greeting.

Pocket Card

I followed a Splitcoaststampers tutorial to make this card.  I used the following products:  My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Paper, We R Memory Keepers Bracket Punch, Spellbinder and Cheery Lynn Dies, Paper Studio Pearl and Lace and Ranger Antique Linen Ink.  This was a fun card to make.

Embossed Enamel Technique

I followed the Splitcoaststampers Tutorial to emboss the leaf.  I used Ranger reinkers to color the image on watercolor paper and covered it with VersaMark. I then covered the leaf in Clear Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel (which I got from Kelly at Nufer Designs).  I then used a heat tool on the leaf.  I love this technique!

MOJO Monday Sketch 315

Below is my card following the sketch:

I used Sizzix embossing folders for the backgrounds and a Spellbinder die for the poinsettia.  I love this Christmas embossing folder and die!  The plaid paper is from the 8x8 Graphic 45 Typography paper pad. I used a Spellbinder die for the red rectangle.

I also made the following card using the same embossing folder and poinsettia die:

On Tuesday Kelly held her card making workshop and we made four beautiful cards and three envelopes.  See pictures below:

Kelly demonstrated the Bow-It-All and We R Memory Keepers Envelope Maker.  Some of the products that we used include: Distress Paints, Ranger Archival Ink Pads and Memento Luxe Ink.

I always look forward to Kelly's monthly workshops and the four beautiful cards that we make.

Welcome to my blog!

I am new at this blogging but excited to get started.

Card Making

I have been scrapbooking for over 15 years with a Creative Memories Consultant.  I have accumulated lots of paper and tools and  this led me to card making which has become my new passion.  Joining Nufer Designs monthly card making class has really helped me expand my knowledge of all the wonderful techniques and love for all
things Tim Holtz. Kelly from Nufer Designs helped me set up my blog today.

The card to the left was a birthday card for my sister-in-law.
